Money Lobang's representative 孙鼎盛 was invited as a guest to discuss about rising fixed deposit rates on Channel 8's 狮城有约 Hello Singapore 十分访谈 Segment aired on 18 May 2018.

Rising Fixed Deposit Rates

The segment starts off with how promotional fixed deposit interest rates have rose over the past 9 months. The participants went on to discuss about the reasons for the rise and checking out a chart depicting which are the banks offering the Highest Promotional Fixed Deposit Rates. Our representative goes on to caution depositors about purchasing financial products in order to receive high headline interest rates as it could result in purchasing of unwanted investment or insurance products.

Singapore Savings Bonds

The participants follow up with a discussion about how Singapore Savings Bonds match up against Singapore Fixed Deposits and came up with the conclusion that Singapore Savings Bonds is currently more attractive than Fixed Term Deposits at the moment due to its better returns but is limited by a maximum investment of $100,000.
