Deposit Account Interest Rates

In the interview, he talks about the basic savings deposit account interest rates. He explains why there is a difference in the interest rates among local and foreign banks operating in Singapore. He goes on to give an example of other Current or Savings Deposit accounts which entitles a depositor with potentially higher interest rates than Fixed Term Deposit but with various conditions attached. The same segment also explore reasons on why interest rates are increasing and when was the last time fixed deposit interest rates are at around 1.00%.
